COBOL-IT certified with IBM TXSeries on Linux x86 and Microsoft Windows

The latest version of IBM TXSeries for Multiplatforms integrates support for COBOL-IT on Linux x86 and Microsoft Windows platforms.

IBM TXSeries for Multiplatforms is a CICS online transaction management environment distributed for mission-critical applications integrating applications written in multiple programming languages. The latest release of IBM TXSeries for Multiplatforms connects both data and applications in Enterprise-Class distributed processing environments and is used to deploy CICS applications written in COBOL, C, C++, Java and PL/1.

COBOL-IT is now certified with V8.2 of TXSeries for Multiplatforms, which offers increased platform coverage, including both the Linux x86 and Microsoft Windows platforms.

This certification allows COBOL-IT to respond to the strong demand for the latest version of TXSeries for Multiplatforms on Linux x86 and Microsoft Windows.

In addition, it confirms IBM’s commitment to continue strengthening their strategic partnership with COBOL-IT.
