COBOL-IT® Precompilers Family: CitSQL®
CitSQL® provides a set of precompilers that take as input a COBOL programs with embedded SQL statements, and produce as output a COBOL program in which the SQL statements have been replaced by CALLs to named routines.
CitSQL® provides different precompilers, and runtime libraries for the different databases supported at runtime. In this manner, native support is provided to the supported database, and best performance is assured.
